Spam content

Recently I have been noticing a lot of spam content in the forum. It mostly consists of people in india or the surrounding area repeating things like
91-9001340118 intercast Love problem solution specialist baba ji mumbai
Over and over again. I looked up this content online, and apparently they have just been going around the internet and spamming as much in the forums as they can. Is there any way to stop annoying spam content like this by preventing people from posting things that repeat themselves?

Maybe?  I'll see what plugins I can find.  The stop forum spam database is active on here, but its obviously not doing the trick.

Maybe set all new members to moderated? That won't prevent them spamming but it will hide it from everyone but forum moderators and admins.

Yes. Members who are moderated must have their posts approved by a forum moderator or admin before they will appear to other members.

for every thread or just the first? if it is for every thread, id give senior members the possibility to approve them. because when you and bast are sleeping, no moderator is here for hours

For every thread. Once a moderator/admin sees that the new member is not a spammer, moderation can be removed from their account so that they can post normally.

That will be up to Bast if he decides new member moderation is the way to go. Moderation of new members was a suggestion on how to handle the spam. Bast may find a better, automated method in his research. We don't have many actual new members sign up every day and fewer that actually do any posting. The bulk of new registrations are spammers.

Send a message from the red planet to the zolarg. When you open the message there will be an option to send a gift.
avatar
I have consulate level 3 on red planet and Deep space transceiver on another but I cannot find the icon in the consulate needed to gift a colony which is not in my commonwealth
avatar
@IITIANS You'll need to build the Deep Space Transceiver, consulate, or capital building. If you are independent on both zolarg and human colonies you can send an embassy.
avatar
@djryuu Can u pls. tell how to do that ?
avatar
@Septimus u haf to delete them one by one
