500 cap for sending resources?

here is an idea: instead of putting a limit on it, make it cost a civic for every 10 or so items sent. that way, you give a use for civics late game, and still restrict gigantic transactions, which I assume was the purpose of the limit.

Look at the prices of Capitol Level 5, level 6 will be even higher.  If you haven't been playing for a long time, this is very expensive.  It also requires resources that are found on multiple planets.  The whole purpose is to add progression to the game and more things to do/work towards.  It is harder to understand when you have been running a colony forever, but I look at it from perspective of the new player starting out with nothing.

So yes maybe you can just get all these upgrades one after the other in a 5 minute timespan and its like 'what was the point.'  But for any new colony starting out, it will not be like that at all, and there will be a point.  It is harder to get the big picture when you are playing through the beta because you are not progressing in the same manner that will occur when the game is finalized.  There will be a lot more content between capitol 1 and X, and different things to build/do at each level of government.  I will say there is no need to have a panic on the mechanics until 1.0 is released, because absolutely everything in the game is still subject to change, down to the initial lander itself.

I missed that one, sorry. I didn't feel like the progression, however, even though I just started my first commonwealth. I might just have been an edge case, but I felt like there was not a huge difference between conulate 2 and 3.

I overreacted yesterday to the 500 limit, and would like to apologize for that.
I understand that the game is undergoing heavy development and all sorts of aspects can change.
I'm sorry for my aggressive post about it yesterday.

Awesome sentiment. I'm really tempted to replace my sig with this so its an auto-addendum for any post I'm in where "Bast said this" is used as a primary argument against something.

@solonovamax, Resources. Buy a little of everything in the market and you should be able to see what's possible to build when you're choosing what to send out.

ok that kinda sucks since i need about 20k, and id have to pay 300mil

than you have to produce it yourself. plastic is a rare resource, so if you want to buy it instead of making it, you have to pay the prices in the GBT
