This is where we can discuss about the marketing to keep GBT under control :3 (Note that GBT Price will be updated regularly based on Market Price)

Estimation price = $ Low Price Estimation - $ High Price Estimation

Water: Less than $10 per 100
Food: $10 - $100 per 100
Ore: $20 - $100 per 100
Steel: $350 - $1000 per 100 (Depends on demands)
Gold: $100 - $300 per 100
Rum:$500 - $1000 per 100
Clay: $2000 - $10.000 per 100
Brick: $2000 - $4000 per 100
Pottery: $200 - $500 per 100
Wood:  $1750 - $4000 per 100
Microchips: $5.000 - $10.000
Uranium: $100.000 - $200.000
Aluminium: $225.000 - $400.000 per 100
Wool: $5.000 - $ 25.000 per 100

what about the prices of the mass driver. since the gbt only counts when you are indepent...plus you have the prices through import like aluminum, uranium, water. we should take all that into account.

I don't think so.. Export Prices are varies depend on how we sell it away do note that the price that i put here is the estimation market price.

Yeah, the Mass Driver prices depend on your own activities. You can sell water for 4603$ (wait, what? o_0 ), and I'm selling it for 69$ per 100. And why? Because I've probably been selling much more than you did.
The same thing goes with the import prices.

As they said .. the mass driver is based on how much you sell and it keeps rising slowly if you dont sell much on it,and drop when you do .. the same way landing pads or other importing buildings increase the price as you import more

The GBT prices are user generated and that explains the strangeness in numbers

well massdriver fluctuates enormously, by the time i was done with the post the prices were already different. Patch believes it´s just random prices. If the prices were more steady one could actually calculate the profit for selling. For example: Buy on GBT (usually the cheapest) and export through Massdriver on the colony that has the best price. For that you can send the goods over through the Capitol/Consulate.

But having a lot of cash doesn´t serve much purpose.

I love that you're talking about the in-game economy, such as it is, but there is something you should realize...
No amount of discussion will enforce pricing. It's possible for the developers of a game to set hard-coding or price fluctuations (like is done on the mass driver et al), but with the GBT, it's all player driven unless changed.

And a certain number of people will TRY to game the system- either by selling products for exorbitant prices and hoping to catch the unaware off-guard, or by otherwise warring with prices.
When I'm selling something lower than the norm, it's because I want to sell it fast or because I decided that it should be lower. Others opinion on it doesn't really affect my decision.
To me, gaming the system economy IS a valid play strategy, and it's one of my favorite aspects of MMO's.

Just want to point that out- the tone of this thread is very gung-ho-we're-all-in-this-together... and we're not.

We're competitors.
